IASAS
01 Athletics & Arts

IASAS Participant

During high school, my IASAS experiences became some of the most transformative moments of my growth. I committed to all three sports seasons—volleyball, tennis, and track and field—representing my school internationally. Through teamwork and perseverance, I contributed to earning two championships and one second-place finish. Beyond athletics, I participated in IASAS Art and served as IASAS Piano Captain, self-learning a classical piece and auditioning for two consecutive years before earning a spot.

Service and Volunteering
02 Community Impact

Services & Volunteering

I actively participated in several service clubs, including Helping Paws for animal welfare, Care for Coral for marine ecosystem protection, and Ecolution for environmental clean-ups across local Thai communities. These service opportunities strengthened my commitment to environmental and social responsibility and deepened my understanding of the impact collective action can have. Volunteering taught me to listen, empathize, and take initiative.

03 Creative Leadership

Leadership Experiences

My leadership experiences in high school were deeply rooted in my passion for art and cultural connection. As the two-year president of a self-led art club, I organized weekly meetings that fostered creativity, collaboration, and expression among students. I also served as an officer of the school's Arts Council, where I worked to amplify student voices in the arts and promote cross-cultural appreciation through events and exhibitions. One of the most meaningful aspects of my leadership was organizing initiatives to support local students by offering access to a shared art studio and leading art lessons — using creativity as a bridge between different cultures and communities.

04 Global Perspective

Multicultural Education

My multicultural education has been shaped by a life lived across borders. Before high school, I lived in China, where I built a strong foundation in language, tradition, and community values. My love for traveling has taken me to nearly 20 different countries, where each journey offered unique learning opportunities. Moving to Thailand for high school introduced me to a truly international environment. Now, continuing my education in the United States, I bring with me a global mindset shaped by these cross-cultural interactions. Diversity is not just something to be appreciated — it's something to be lived, learned from, and woven into the way we connect, create, and grow.

05 Resilience

COVID-19 Influences

The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on my educational journey. In 2019, just as my family had decided to send me to Thailand for high school, the world was abruptly changed by the outbreak. Instead of physically moving, I spent my first academic year attending virtual school from home, adapting to a new curriculum, language, and culture entirely online. The experience was isolating and filled with challenges — from navigating time zone differences to trying to form connections with teachers and classmates I had never met in person. When I finally arrived in Thailand, I had to adjust quickly to a brand-new environment. This experience taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying open-minded in unfamiliar situations.

Professional Experience

E-commerce Graphic Design Intern

UBTech, Shenzhen, China — Summer 2025

During my freshman summer, I had the opportunity to intern at UBTech in Shenzhen as an e-commerce graphic designer. This was my first internship experience, and it became a transformative step in my journey as a designer and aspiring technologist. I worked on creating visual content for online marketing, primarily using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, while also experimenting with AI tools to improve design quality and efficiency.

Being new to a professional environment pushed me to adapt quickly, absorb knowledge from experienced colleagues, and take responsibility for my work. I discovered that I'm a fast learner and highly motivated when given challenges — I constantly sought feedback and used it to improve, growing noticeably throughout the internship.

As a Computer Science major with a concentration in Interactive Design, I'm especially drawn to UI/UX design and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). I hope to continue exploring roles that focus on creating meaningful and intuitive experiences between people and technology. My time at UBTech gave me not only practical skills, but also the confidence and curiosity to keep pushing forward.
