Scuba Diving

Beneath
the Surface

I'm an advanced certified scuba diver with a deep passion for the ocean and the natural environment. Being underwater feels like entering a whole new world, and I love exploring marine life up close. Scuba diving perfectly combines my love for outdoor sports and adventure, allowing me to stay active while connecting with nature in one of its most awe-inspiring forms.

Stories
in Strokes

I've grown extremely passionate about expressing myself through art. In high school, I was part of the school art team and had the opportunity to exhibit my work internationally. Some of my drawings have even received awards, which has been incredibly motivating and affirming. Art has become one of my favorite ways to explore creativity and tell stories visually.

Champion

I started learning tennis when I first entered high school and quickly fell in love with the sport. Through consistent practice and dedication, I worked my way up to become a varsity tennis player by the end of high school. One of my proudest moments was leading our team to win the championship (the first time in 14 years) marking a memorable highlight in my athletic journey.

Team
Spirit

I started playing volleyball in 9th grade, teaching myself the basics out of pure interest and determination. Over time, my skills improved, and I earned a spot on my high school's varsity team, where we proudly finished second in a major tournament. Even now in college, I continue to play volleyball for fun through intramural games — it's a sport I genuinely enjoy and a great way to stay active and connected with others.

Natural
Talent

Track and field is the sport where I discovered my natural talent. Without any formal training, I was selected for my high school team and quickly made my mark by earning first place for two consecutive years. As I continued to develop my technique and strength, I became one of the top five throwers throughout the tournament circuit — an experience that not only boosted my confidence but also deepened my passion for athletics.

Cultural
Roots

I've been learning Peking Opera since first grade, and it has become a meaningful part of how I connect with and represent my culture. Over the years, I've had the honor of performing abroad and on prestigious stages like the National Theatre. During high school, I continued to share this traditional art form by performing at international events, proudly representing my cultural roots and introducing others to the beauty and history of Peking Opera.

Heritage

Chinese calligraphy has been another meaningful way for me to express and share my culture. I began learning it in first grade and later earned certification. In high school, I actively supported the Chinese Culture Club, especially during Lunar New Year celebrations, by showcasing calligraphy to help spread cultural awareness. Through these experiences, I've been able to connect with both my heritage and the local community, using art to build cultural understanding and appreciation.

Quiet
Creativity

Crochet is a light but meaningful hobby I discovered during my last year of high school. I taught myself everything through curiosity and trial and error, picking it up during my free time as a way to unwind. It quickly became more than just a pastime — crocheting helps me calm my mind, stay focused, and find moments of peace in busy days. It's a simple yet deeply personal form of self-care and creativity.

Keys to
Connection

I've been learning the piano since I was five, and although I had performance experiences before high school, I eventually took a break from playing. However, my passion reignited once I entered high school. I challenged myself by self-learning difficult classical piano pieces and auditioned for the school's music team. After two years of perseverance, I finally earned a spot in my senior year — representing my school and connecting with musicians from other schools in different countries, deepening my love for music and performance.
